DigitalOcean deployment and server management for production apps

We set up, secure and maintain Droplets, managed databases and Spaces, with Docker, Nginx, SSL, backups and monitoring, so your website or API stays fast and online.

  • Hardened Ubuntu servers
  • Docker and CI/CD deployments
  • Backups and monitoring from day one

Practical infrastructure for growing applications

Droplets, managed databases, object storage, Docker deployment, Nginx, SSL and day-to-day operations, each set up the way production needs it.

Compute

Droplet setup

Right-sized Droplets, configured for production from the first login instead of patched together later.

  • Size and region chosen for your traffic
  • SSH keys, non-root users, firewall rules
  • VPC private networking between services
  • Swap, time sync and automatic security updates
Containers

Docker deployment

Repeatable releases with Docker and Compose, so staging and production behave the same.

  • Dockerfiles and Compose stacks for your app
  • CI/CD that builds and deploys on merge
  • Secrets kept out of the codebase
  • One-step rollback to the last good image
Data

Managed databases

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or Redis-compatible caching on DigitalOcean's managed service.

  • Private-network connections only
  • Trusted-source rules and pooling
  • Backups with tested restores
Edge

Nginx and SSL

A tuned reverse proxy in front of your app, with HTTPS that renews itself.

  • Let's Encrypt certificates, auto-renewed
  • HTTP/2, compression and cache headers
  • Redirects and security headers
Protection

Backups and security

Recovery and hardening you can actually test, not just switch on.

  • Snapshots and offsite copies in Spaces
  • Fail2ban and rate limiting
  • Least-privilege access for your team
Operations

Monitoring and support

Know about problems before your customers do. DigitalOcean monitoring alerts and uptime checks watch CPU, memory, disk and response time. After launch we patch, tune and respond, and hand over runbooks whenever you want to take operations in-house.

A clear path from idea to production

We keep technical decisions visible and delivery structured, so you know what is happening at every stage and what you receive at the end of it.

  1. 1Discovery

    Understand the requirement

Map users, workflows, current hosting, integrations and success criteria.

You getA requirements summary and access checklist.

  2. 2Architecture

    Plan the solution

Choose Droplet sizes, data services, network layout and delivery milestones.

You getAn architecture plan with a monthly cost estimate.

  3. 3Build

    Develop iteratively

Provision, harden and deploy in focused milestones with testing and review points.

You getA working staging environment and CI/CD pipeline.

  4. 4Launch

    Operate and improve

Release safely, switch DNS with a rollback plan, then monitor and keep improving.

You getA live system, alerts and handover notes.

A stack selected for your product

We pick DigitalOcean products around your workload and budget, then keep the setup simple enough for your team to understand.

Scalable architecture

A practical starting point that can evolve with product requirements and traffic.

Integration ready

APIs, third-party services and existing business systems connected without unnecessary complexity.

Production focused

Deployment, performance, security and maintainability considered from the beginning.

DigitalOcean questions, answered

Still unsure which setup fits? Send us your stack and timeline and we will suggest one.

What does DigitalOcean deployment and server management include?

We choose the right Droplet size and region, harden the server, deploy your app with Docker or a standard stack, configure Nginx and SSL, connect managed databases and Spaces storage, and set up backups and monitoring. Your DigitalOcean account stays in your name, so you keep full ownership.

Should I use Droplets, App Platform or Kubernetes?

For most growing products we start with Droplets and Docker because cost is predictable and you keep full control. If your workload later needs autoscaling or many services, we plan a move to App Platform or managed Kubernetes and explain the trade-offs first.

Can you migrate an existing website or app to DigitalOcean?

Yes. We copy the application and data to a new environment, test it on a staging address, then switch DNS when everything checks out. This keeps downtime short and lets you roll back quickly if something looks wrong.

How do you secure a DigitalOcean server?

We use SSH key login with root and password access disabled, a firewall that opens only the ports you need, automatic security updates, Fail2ban, HTTPS everywhere and least-privilege database access. Backups are tested so recovery is a known process, not a guess.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. Support covers monitoring alerts, patching, backup checks, performance tuning and incident response. If you decide to bring operations in-house, we hand over documentation and credentials.

How much does it cost?

DigitalOcean bills infrastructure directly to your account, so you pay the provider's price with no markup from us. Our setup and support fees depend on scope, and we share a written estimate after the discovery call.
